About this position
What you´ll do
- Research and develop ground-breaking technologies
- Identify opportunities for new technology, products or performance improvements
- Lead one or multiple Research & Development projects critical to business
- Actively make your specialized knowledge available to the organization
- Act as an ambassador for the scientific community of Henkel BU
- Secure IP position in own area of development
- Contribute actively in scientific publications and forums with papers and presentations
- Act as a consultant for management and steering committee
What makes you a good fit
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar, PhD degree with a focus on product development preferred
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in scientific research and technology development
- Expertise in innovation and product development combined with strong skills in experimental design, analysis, and problem-solving
- Intellectual property (IP) management, including patent filing and IP strategy as well as proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, Matlab) for interpreting research
- Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive analysis combined with proficiency in scientific publishing and presenting at conferences
- Fluent English Skills
